General Policy
Murmu Software Infotech provides custom software development and digital services. Because much of our work involves time, planning, and resource allocation, refunds depend on the project stage and the terms agreed in writing. As our services are customized and effort-driven, Murmu Software Infotech does not guarantee refunds in all cases. Refund decisions are made based on the specific circumstances, project stage, and applicable agreements.
Cancellations
- Clients may request cancellation by email with project details and reason.
- Cancellation requests are reviewed based on work completed, commitments, and any third-party costs incurred.
- For ongoing projects, cancellation is typically handled as per the signed agreement.
Refund Eligibility
- Advance or milestone payments may be partially refundable only for unstarted work, subject to administrative and onboarding costs.
- Payments for completed milestones, delivered work, or hours already consumed are generally non-refundable.
- Third-party fees (domain, hosting, paid APIs, licenses, ads, payment gateway charges) are non-refundable if already purchased or consumed.
Revisions Instead of Refunds
Wherever possible, we aim to resolve concerns through revisions, bug fixes, or scope adjustments aligned with the agreed deliverables. Please contact us with clear issue details so we can help quickly.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method when possible. Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on banks and payment providers. Murmu Software Infotech is not responsible for delays caused by banking systems or payment gateways. If a refund cannot be processed to the original method, an alternative payout method may be offered upon mutual agreement.
Payment Gateway
Payments and refunds are processed through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay. Murmu Software Infotech does not control or guarantee processing timelines once a refund request has been initiated through the payment gateway, as such timelines are governed by the gateway and banking partners.
Final Decision
Murmu Software Infotech reserves the right to approve or reject any cancellation or refund request based on contractual obligations, work completed, and applicable laws.
